preventing him from taking on LeBron James – the Wizard’s opponent this
night in Miami or someone else on the basketball court.

Booker, who sprained his right knee during the time of pre season but
has not made his appearance in a game since aggravating the injury in a
loss to Indiana on November 19.

his teammate John wall did. His specialist David Altchek was the one who
reviewed Booker’s MRI and ascertained that the best thing for Booker
would be to have a platelet-rich plasma treatment so as to encourage
more natural healing process.
He will have the treatment done on Monday by the Wizards’ team
doctors and would have to rest for an entire week. prior to returning to
any physical activity.
“Then, I’m going to start building back up, but I can’t do anything
for a week,” Booker. who couldn’t offer a timetable on when he will be
able to return. “ I think it depends on how my body responds and how
it’s healing.”
Former Wizards Josh Howard and Rashard Lewis both had undergone the
procedure to help with their knee issues and Booker had undergone two
PRP procedures to assist him recover from plantar fasciitis in his right
foot.
During the advent of this third season, Booker averaged 6.8 points
and 5.6 rebounds in nine games, including seven starts. Booker started
limping after elevating for a layup against the pacers.
Booker will not be able to attend his 12th consecutive game when the
Wizards have rematch with the defending champion Heat, and he is out
for an indefinite time.
